About us
Mumbles Confectionery Company is a new business!
Before the war, children and adults alike visited our store which was then knows as "Ceaton's." As you can see from these pictures kindly passed onto us by Mumbles Local History Centre, Seaton's was fuly stocked with traditional goodies, doubling as a news paper and gift shop- much like the contents of our store, which is now under the new name "Mumbles Confectionery Company."
We were totally unaware of the history of the building before we set up shop, and when the friendly locals visited our shop when we opened in March 2008, we were amazed to hear the stories of how people remember buying their favourite quarter of sweets, many years ago right here in the very same building!
Although now we sell our sweets by the 100 grams, many people still come in and ask for a quarter of....... "It's just habit!" one of our regulars tells us!
Despite the change in measurements from pounds and ounces to grams, all our sweets have the same exquisite taste as they did back in yesteryear, come and see us and tell us your memories, and perhaps make some new ones!
 We aim to be the place you visit FIRST when you come to Mumbles and your favourite stop, along the promenade on a sunny Welsh Day for your cold drinks and treats; and a hot coffee and scrumptious doughnut - whatever the weather!!
We can make your parties sparkle with our seasonal, bespoke gifts and treats; personalised to your requirements! Party bags are available and contents can be custom chosen by you or your little angels. For custom party bags please call us or drop us an email on the details below.
